CMC Provider Accreditation Scheme 2010/11

The guidance notes and application form to become a CMC provider accredited mediation organisation are available in the downloads section of this website.

Providers currently accredited are asked to apply for re-accreditation by 31 March 2010.

Being accredited by the CMC is the pre-requisite of an organisation being able to apply to the National Mediation Helpline (NMH) for work.  The Ministry of Justice will be issuing their guidance notes and application form shortly and the new NMH panels will be complete by 1st April 2010 when they will be closed until January 2011.

For further details of the NMH, please visit their website at www.nationalmediationhelpline.com or call them on 0845 60 30 809.

Accreditation relates to the standards, quality, and characteristics of the provider and not to its individual mediators but sets basic standards of training, CPD, and administration.

For further details of the CMC's accreditation scheme then please see the download section mentioned above or call the Registrar on 020 7353 3227 or email registrar@civilmediation.org.
