The CMC currently has over 350 individual members.  The cost of membership is £75 per calendar year.  Please Download and complete the CMC Membership Form for Individuals.  Cheques should be crossed and made payable to the 'Civil Mediation Council'.

Please note that membership renewal is in January every year.  Taking up membership in the last 3 months of the year means that you do not pay the annual subscription in the following calendar year.

Article 2.4 of the CMC Constitutions confirms eligibility of membership as the following:

"a "Mediator" is defined as an individual who conducts a professional mediation practice in England and Wales, whether solely or in conjunction with other business or professional pursuits, and who is qualified in accordance with such standards as to training accreditation or otherwise as the Board may publish from time to time."

If you do not qualify under the CMC Constitution to be a full member, you can apply for Associate Membership.  The difference with associate membership is that you cannot stand or vote in Board elections, propose or second resolutions or appear on the list of members on the website.  CLICK HERE to download the application form for associate membership.
